Alex DeMille is a writer/director and freelance editor based in both New York and Los Angeles.
DeMille grew up on Long Island, New York and received a BA in History from Yale University. After graduation he moved to Manhattan, where he worked in post production. In 2005 he moved to Los Angeles to work towards an MFA in film directing at UCLA. At school, DeMille wrote and directed several award-winning short films that have screened at film festivals around the world. His thesis film "The Absence" won the top award at the 2012 Comic Con International Independent Film Festival.
DeMille is represented by Mark Ross at Paradigm and managed by Alex Lerner at Kaplan Perrone. He is currently developing several feature scripts.
